LIVING SYSTEM FOR KNOWLEDGE, CULTURE AND REGENERATION

A living system rooted in the Amazon, where different knowledge systems, science, art, education and regenerative practices come together.
Tera Kuno creates spaces where different ways of knowing meet — spaces to learn, experiment and develop new practices together.
Rooted in the territory. Open to different ways of knowing. Connected through relationships. Oriented towards regeneration.

WHAT IS GROWING

For six years, Tera Kuno has been developing the Agroforestry Training Center in Manaus, dedicated to agroforestry, education and community-based learning. Through Arte & Escola na Floresta, participatory agriculture and the community initiative Ajuri, locally rooted practices have emerged, carried by people from the territory and strengthened through strategic partnerships.

With a new territory, there is now an opportunity to deepen and expand this approach:
The landscape itself becomes a school. Agroecological systems are being established, knowledge is being explored through practice, and new forms of learning, food and collective work are taking shape.

ERDSTIMMEN – ENCOUNTERS BETWEEN THE AMAZON AND SWITZERLAND
In Switzerland, Tera Kuno brings this work into dialogue with artists, farmers, researchers and visitors.
The Erdstimmen series, curated by Nora Hauswirth, creates spaces for encounter, artistic practice and shared learning. On 19 September, Hof Blum hosts the Fermentation Festival, where artists and visitors will transform the abundance of the farm together, exploring questions of cycles, food, soil and abundance.

Other encounters include two farm visits in the Zurich region, participation in the Agroecology Works Schweiz network, and a workshop around the learning building.

In parallel, Tera Kuno is developing, together with Adana Omágua Kambeba, a series of encounters around Indigenous knowledge, healing, science and other ways of knowing. → Learn more about Erdstimmen Switzerland
